Delivery Information – Crescent Event Hire

At Crescent Event Hire, we want your event to run smoothly, which means getting your Hire Goods delivered safely, on time, and hassle-free. Below is everything you need to know about our delivery service.

Delivery Areas

We offer delivery across the UK. Charges are calculated based on the size of your order and distance from our warehouse in Keynsham, Bristol. For remote locations or large orders, additional charges may apply.

Delivery Hours

Standard delivery and collection hours are 8:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

If you require delivery or collection outside these times, we will do our best to accommodate you. Additional charges may apply for out-of-hours requests.

Booking & Scheduling

  • Once your order is confirmed, we’ll agree a delivery date and time slot with you.
  • Please note, all time slots are estimates. Factors such as traffic, weather, or Force Majeure events may cause delays.
  • Deliveries on the day of your event are strongly discouraged; we cannot be held responsible if this affects your event.

Delivery Process

  • Our delivery team will arrive at the address provided in your order confirmation.
  • They will check all items with you to ensure everything has arrived as requested.
  • Crockery, cutlery, and glassware are delivered in specific crates; furniture is stacked; linen comes in bags.

Preparing for Collection

  • All items must be ready for collection from 8:00am on the agreed day.
  • Crockery, cutlery, and glassware should be free of food and returned in the original crates.
  • Catering equipment should be emptied and free of food or stock.
  • Furniture and linen must be stacked and ready at the point of delivery.

Failure to have items ready may result in additional charges.

Access & Site Requirements

  • Ensure there is safe and clear access for our delivery team.
  • Denied access, blocked sites, or difficult terrain may incur extra charges.
  • Deliveries to third-party or unoccupied premises are at your risk and require written authorisation.

Special Notes

  • Please notify us in advance of any restrictions, such as narrow driveways, low gates, or parking limitations.
  • A 30-minute window will be allowed for delivery or collection from the time of arrival. Delays caused by the customer may result in additional charges at £10 per 15-minute period.
  • All items must remain within the UK unless prior written consent is obtained.
